Neomycin Oral Solution

For the treatment and control of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli susceptible to neomycin sulfate in cattle, swine, sheep and goats. Dosage: Mix 5 ml (1 tsp) in water or milk for each 100 lbs body wt. Administer daily as a drench in divided doses or as the sole source of drinking water to be consumed in 12-24 hrs. May also be given undiluted. Continue treatment for 24-48 hrs beyond remission of disease symptoms, but not more than 14 consecutive days. Each ml contains 200 mg neomycin sulfate. 16 oz will treat 9,464 lbs of body wt. Do not use in veal calves or female dairy cattle 20 mos or older. Slaughter withdrawal: Cattle - 1 day; Sheep - 2 days; Swine and goats - 3 days.
